ENFORCEMENT ACTION IN WALMGATE

Headline: Enforcement Action in Walmgate 👮‍♂️⚖️

​Response officers conducted a proactive check on a flat in Walmgate, York, today to ensure compliance with a standing Partial Premises Closure Order.

​During the visit, officers located a female inside the property who was not the legal occupant. She was immediately arrested for breaching the order. Following her arrest, the individual further assaulted officers and was subsequently arrested for that offense as well.

​Closure orders are in place to protect the community and prevent persistent nuisance or disorder. We will continue to take robust action against those who disregard them.
